Creative Space
offers the perfect venue for groups of like-minded people
to get together & create whether it be through art, writing, yoga,
music, photography or outdoor activities such as walking, cycling, running,
canoeing and swimming. This tranquil setting makes it an attractive
venue for giving lectures and presentations, holding workshops &
team-building. Our studio opens out onto a shaded wooden deck where
you can relax in the hammocks or take a dip in the outdoor pool (season
permitting). Accommodation is two cottage style gîtes in beautiful
stone buildings nestled in a small peaceful hamlet overlooking the village
of St. Paul le Jeune, Ardèche, Southern France. We offer full
or half board for between 4 & 7 people. Group bookings run from

Painting
courses are run by Colin Baxter
who is a practising artist & has many years experience in teaching
art at all levels. The art course comprises tuition, outdoor trips
& workshops with some free time to explore the area. Trips include
historical sites of interest such as Avignon, the Pont du Gard, Nimes
& Arles. Our all inclusive full board art course is £850
per person per week sharing/ £950 own room. This includes all
meals & drinks, 2 restaurant meals, tuition, all art materials,
day trip transport & airport transfers (based on Nimes but others
available). Group bookings run from September through to June. For

Outdoor Activities include:

For ramblers,
runners & cyclists there are numerous tracks leading straight
from the gîtes into the surrounding forests to old gold
mines, viaducts & ancient chapels.

Cycle the routes
taken by previous Tour de France contenders.

Many underground
caves have been discovered in this limestone area including the
famous cave painting at Chauvet in the Ardèche Gorge dating
back 35 000 years. There are natural pot-holes and cave systems
close by at Aven d'Orgnac and La Cocalière.

Canoe & kayak
down the famous Ardèche Gorge.

Explore protected
natural reserves such as the Cévennes National Park which
is right on our doorstop.
Places to visit
nearby include the picturesque market towns of Les
Vans, St. Ambroix, Barjac & Uzès. Learn about the famous
silk worm factories, how the lavender is cultivated & the essential
oil extracted or stroll through bamboo gardens. Try the local olive
oil & taste the numerous wines of the region straight from the
'cave'. Several day trips are on offer to historical sites of interest
such as Avignon, the Pont du Gard, Nimes & Arles. As we are located
in southern Ardèche we enjoy a mild Mediterranean climate making
it attractive to visit all year round.
